Vacu-51 is a customized pen put together by Carl Seidl. The pen starts with a lovely Vacumatic Major double jewel pen in black that is mated to a 51 cap. How is that possible? Carl places threads in the 51 cap to accept the Vacumatic barrel. Yes, sort of like an Imperial Vacumatic but not really. Fool your friends! Better yet, just enjoy the pen. It’s lovely, unusual, and very much a pleasure to use. A few tiny shallow dings on back of cap, that’s about it. Like to moderate ambering.
