1 Vacumatic Major in golden pearl celluloid, c. 1937. Speedline filler. Double jewel. Moderately ambered transparent barrel. Clean trim with light brassing to highspots on top ring of pocket clip and barrel tassie. Imprint legible but worn. Date code reads 47 with one dot. A bit confusing but places date of manufacture somewhere around last quarter of 1937. Brown striped end jewels and section. Two–tone arrow nib writes with a Fine line. ………$185
2 Vacumatic in burgundy pearl celluloid, 1939. Later plastic stem filler. Moderately ambered transparent barrel. Clean trim with light brassing to highspots on top of pocket clip ring and tassie and cap band. Legible imprint with a date code of a 9 and three dots dates this pen to the first quarter of 1939. 3 Vacumatic Maxima in black celluloid, c. 1937. Speedline filler. Moderate ambering to barrel with some transparency left. Light brassing at high spots to trim, which also has some small scratches and pin point dings (viewed with a magnifying glass). Imprints are mostly legible but have some wear (the date code is not legible). Initials on cap band. Clean pen. Large two-tone arrow nib writes with a Fine line……$350
4 Vacumatic Major in golden pearl celluloid, c. 1941. Moderate ambering to barrel with some transparency left. Moderate brassing to trim especially at high points. Some scratches and signs of use, much of which has been polished out. Name on barrel. Blue paint in diamond on clip mostly gone. Good threads and legible imprint. Date code is 1 with single dot puts manufacture to third quarter 1941. Black end jewels and section. Nib is two-tone with much of the original plating lost. Writes with an Extra Fine to Fine line. ……… $165
5 Vacumatic Major in golden pearl celluloid, c. 1940. Moderate to heavy ambering to barrel with a little transparency left. Clean trim with minimal brassing. Name of owner on barrel. Diamond has no paint. Good threads and legible imprint. Date code is 0 with three dots putting production at first quarter 1940. Monotone Fine nib……………… $145
6 Vacumatic Major in black celluloid, c. 1946. Light to moderate ambering with good transparency. Clean trim with no brassing. Good threads and legible imprint. Date code is 6 with two dots placing production third quarter 1946. A few scratches barrel, remnants of teeth marks on blind cap. Monotone arrow nib writes with a fine line …… $125
7 Vacumatic Debutante in emerald green pearl celluloid, c. 1941. Moderate ambering with good transparency. Some signs of wear to tassie and pocket cap ring. Pen has a gray striped section to the Demi’s predecessor. Must have been an early Vac because the lines are diagonal. Two-tone arrow nib writes with a Fine line. ……………….$110
